I'm having an issue that windows 10 keeps turning off hotspot automatically for no reason. I have my phone connected to the hotspot only and then I disconnect my wifi so my phone is connected to pc using hotspot directly without going through the internet to stream something.

I turn my wifi and connect to the internet, turn my hotspot and connect my phone to it then I disconnect from the internet so that my phone is connected to my pc using hotspot without going through internet but the problem that it disconnect automatically after 21 min for no reason.

In reply to Ayham Ali's post on January 26, Hi Ayham Ali, try keeping Energy Saver disabled in your mobile hotspot settings and then try again. Click Network Reset on the right side, follow the instructions and read the notes. If it says No then this is at fault, since your WiFi adapter does not support this feature, and there is not much to do about it except buying another WiFi adapter that does support it.
If it is already unchecked, skip this step. Check "Allow other network users to connect through this computer's Internet connection" If you get a popup that says "Internet Connection Sharing is currently enabled If not, you can try updating both your Network adapter drivers or uninstall them. I tried all the solutions again with no result my card does not support hosted network support but it support wifi direct and it works without problem when connected to internet and hotspot activated but my problem happens when I disconnect internet while hotspot is active in which it disconnects after 21 min for no reason so it's like this I turn my wifi and connect to the internet, turn my hotspot and connect my phone to it then I disconnect from the internet so that my phone is connected to my pc using hotspot without going through internet but the problem that it disconnect automatically after 21 min for no reason any more suggestion or software that could fix that problem?

I know very well that the Hosted Network has nothing to do with your problem, I only suggested that you try disabling Energy Saver in the mobile hotspot settings and then try to restore the network.
Did you make both of my suggestions? Now I ask you a question: Did your mobile hotspot work properly according to your wishes or has this problem only recently occurred? In reply to franco d'esaro's post on January 27, Hi, yes i have disabled energy saver in both settings and device manager for both adapter and wifi direct and applied restore the network i don't know acutally since this is the first time i use it Did you do the test in safe mode and get a clean boot?
I Hope it helps you. Hi Ayham Ali, it is not possible to perform any type of streaming via mobile hotsopot or directly via the PC if you do not have an active internet connection. What type of streaming do you intend to perform?
To perform any streaming in any case you must be connected to the internet, with or without the mobile hotspot, otherwise which server do you connect to to stream if you don't have an internet connection available?
